VigiAccess provides the public with aggregated statistical views derived from VigiBase, the WHO global database of adverse-event reports for medicines and vaccines maintained by Uppsala Monitoring Centre.
Interpretation limitation
VigiAccess is useful for exploring reported-event patterns but cannot establish that a medicine caused an event and should not be used to compare the safety profiles of products without appropriate epidemiological context. Spontaneous-reporting data are affected by exposure, reporting practices, stimulated reporting and many other sources of bias.
